Commercial Manager - Pest Control

THE COMPANY:

Our client is an Australian owned, ISO certified company offering a range of commercial pest control solutions to Corporate, Government and SME clients in South East Queensland. Recognised throughout their industry as delivering exceptional service levels within their sector. Having recently gone through some changes in their management team, they are well placed to continue their success in 2024 through the recruitment of an experienced and reliable Manager.

THE POSITION:

Based in Brisbane you will work as part of a team to manage existing and future accounts. Our client has a strong market reputation and brand name within the industry and you will be responsible for maintaining this reputation.

This role is focused on strategically managing contracts with single and multi-site institutions across a variety of businesses that operate across a diverse range of industries.

Responsibilities include the management of accounts, onsite quality checks, new contract start-ups, sales, technician training/recruitment, termite inspection and treatment report management and to administer service solutions to key decision makers and other client operatives.

As part of a close-knit team, your willingness to become involved in all aspects of the business and the flexibility to be 'hands-on' to get the job done will be essential. 

You will work alongside the Operations Manager for the delivery of service agreements through the day-to-day management of a team of 6 - 8 technicians. You will be required to liaise with clients, service technicians and other staff members, offering technical information, guidance, and service know-how as required. 


THE APPLICANT:

You will be an experienced professional from within the pest control sector. You will be converse with AS4349.3/AS3660, timber pest qualified, be a good communicator, have a keen eye for detail, savvy with technology, proficient with Microsoft Suite, strong presentation and written skills giving you the tools you need to succeed in this role.

Experience with bird and pest proofing will be highly regarded. You will possess the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment and the desire and capability to lead a team and innovate. You will have experience in tenders as well as contract proposals and complex negotiation skills. In return our client offers a bright future in a market leading and growing company.
