Our Client: 

Part of a large International Group, our client is located at Taren Point, and is a well-established import and distribution co, dealing in fastening, fixing and protective cables.

The Role:

Working with this small, friendly team & reporting to the General Manager, the Procurement Analyst is responsible for specialising in finding goods and services for the business at best price to ensure continued functionality.  You will also be responsible for the stock forecasting and planning working along side the sales team, inventory control ensuring end to end accounting for stock is reconciled and processing purchase requirements. 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales forecasting and stock planning
  • Inventory control
  • Inventory supply chain management
  • Process purchase order requirements - Local and overseas
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Processing supplier and freight invoices
  • Manage the procurement interface between systems

Skills & Requirements:

  • NAVISION experience, highly regarded
  • Strong planning and numeracy skills
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Aptitude for working with various computer systems/programs
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
  • Attention to detail
  • A methodical approach to work with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent organisational skills

Hours:  Monday to Friday 8.30 am  - 5.00 pm

Salary:  $70-80K + Super (Depending on experience)
