THE COMPANY:

National engineering solutions company. Working out of Balmain office. Parking available. 

 

THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking an energetic and proactive individual with exceptional organisational, coordination and communication skills to join a well known construction company located in modern offices.

As the Construction Administrator - Major Projects, you will report directly to the Major Projects Division Manager and will be responsible for providing support to the project teams.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrative and office support
  • Assist with inductions, resource allocations, Assignar app
  • Human Resource administrative processes, assist with recruitment, inductions, annual leave, onboarding
  • Assist with collating project documentation such as shift reports, QA, ITP
  • Liaise with accounts re: progress claims and invoicing
  • Maintaining applicable company registers
  • Diary management
  • Travel arrangements
  • Admin support for projects team

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience using Assignar app, highly regarded
  • MS Office - Advanced, specifically Excel 
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role - Project Admin or Coordinator
  • Previous construction or related industry experience advantageous 
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude and a willingness to work in a small but growing team

 

WORK TYPE:              Long term Temp with possible view to Perm 

HOURS:                      8.00 am - 4.00 pm  1/2 lunch 

HOURLY RATE:           $35-40/hour (Includes casual loading) - Depending on experience
